June talk: Diverse Methods of Growing Alpines in the Czech Garden by Jiří Papoušek

Meeting at the Bellevue Botanical Garden

Jiří Papoušek is an avid rock gardener and active member of the Czech Rock Garden Society. He is an enthusiastic grower of cushion plants, dwarf conifers and daphnes. Around his house you can find several crevice rock garden constructions, peat blocks and an alpine tunnel with a tufa wall.

In his lecture at our June meeting, he will cover his experience with growing plants in a crevice garden, a tufa wall in a tunnel, in peat blocks and in an alpine house. We are very excited to have him!

Join us at Bellevue Botanical Garden at 7:00 pm for social time, 7:30 pm for the meeting and program. Our meetings are free and open to the public.
